Are anyone of you the type of mom that always wonders what you are going to feed your kids for lunch? I am always looking for new and creative recipes for my kids. Today, I used some leftover herb butter I made yesterday and used it for grilled cheese. Yummo. The kids could not get enough of it.
It is so fun to walk a few steps outside and gather fresh herbs.

Making Lunch from my Herb Garden
Sundays are usually super busy for my family. My husband is the music director at our church and so we are usually out the door by 8:45 a.m. Not to mention that I have a son and 2 daughters to get ready. But this morning was a little different. My baby daughter was running a fever, so I decided to stay home with her.
I laid her down for a morning nap and had plenty of time to prepare for lunch. For my b-day this year, my hubby built me a raised garden bed to put herbs in. I was so delighted. For lunch today, I grilled pork chops, made a homemade herb butter to go on top of them, made mashed potatoes, and a yummy cilantro lime corn salad. It was nice having a leisurely morning to prepare a Sunday lunch.
